A great number of changes are currently taking place at G-Netech Studios, not the least of which is an overhaul of our video editing and post production suite.

G-Netech's editing suite used to rely solely upon the Final Cut Pro in terms of its non-linear software product of choice. Production companies who prefer to work within different environments now have their needs met, however.

The popular Final Cut workflow is still supported, through a Final Cut Studio suite running on our new Apple PowerMac G5. Final Cut Studio includes the HD-ready Final Cut Pro 5, Motion 2, Soundtrack Pro and DVD Studio Pro 4 software. The system on which this is running features a high definition 23" HP LCD display and a second monitor for use in delivering broadcast previews in real time.

G-Netech now also gives its partners and clients access to a PC-based Avid system, boasting Avid Liquid 7 Pro software and hardware. This system provides an amazingly intuitive workflow by incorporating editing, effects, sound design and DVD authoring in one unified interface. You'll be amazed at the degree of speed and flexibility supported by this new setup. Avid Liquid 7 offers native support for HD video.

Our new editing suite also offers laptops equipped with Canopus Edius Pro 3 and Adobe Premier 6.0 for specialist editing work, rush previews and training purposes.

The addition of Avid software to our line-up brings G-Netech's editing facilities in line with broadcast industry standards, while our multi-system setup creates an environment that is geared to high-turnover production requirements. This all combines to enable Gold Coast production companies to cut material at our facility with impressive results, faster and more affordably than ever before.
